Lehner Kunstauktionen specializes in Modern and Contemporary Art from both national and international origins. The satisfaction of our clients is at the center of our work. Our goal is to achieve the best possible results for both consignors and buyers.

To ensure this, we intentionally limit ourselves to a select number of auctions each year, featuring a carefully curated offering. This approach allows us to identify the right buyers for each individual work and to dedicate the necessary attention to pieces that may not always receive the appreciation they deserve elsewhere. Our philosophy is grounded in respect and enthusiasm for art – not in the arrogance sometimes found in the art market. The joy of art and of building collections is what drives us and what inspired the founding of our house.

We hold at least three auctions per year and only offer works that meet our quality standards and resonate with our clientele. This makes our auctions appealing to both consignors and buyers.

The auctioneer and managing director is Dr. Frederik Lehner, the second generation of his family active in the art trade. By operating both an auction house and an art gallery, we are able to offer consignors flexible and strategically tailored sales options.
